Technical analysis is a trading term used to figure out securities and identify trading probability by analyzing statistics collect from trading activity, such as price movement and volume. Unlike fundamental analysts, who attempt to figure out a security’s basic value, technical analysts focus on charts of price movement and various analytical tools to estimate a security’s strength or weakness.
